Privacy Policy
GYSTiq, LLC Last updated: 19 August 2026
GYSTiq, LLC (“GYSTiq”, “we”, “us”) operates gystiq.com and provides operational intelligence and workflow automation services to business clients. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
It covers our website and our business relationships. Where we handle information inside a client’s own systems under a services agreement, that agreement governs, and we act on the client’s instructions rather than our own.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form on our website we collect your name and email address, which are required, and your phone number, company name and the content of your message. We use this to respond to you and, if a relationship follows, to manage it. If you email us or engage us as a client, we hold the correspondence and the records the engagement generates.
Text message consent. If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile number and a record of that consent: the date and time, the IP address the opt-in was submitted from, the page you submitted it on, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep that record so that we can show, if we are ever asked, that you opted in and what you were told at the time. If you later opt out, we record that too and keep the original wording, because deleting it would remove the evidence that we were entitled to message you in the first place. What we send, how often, and how to stop it are set out in our SMS Opt-In Policy.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website our server records standard technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit.
We set a small number of strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie required for the site to function, marked secure and HttpOnly and expiring when you close your browser, and cookies that record your cookie choices so we do not have to ask you again on every page.
We also use two analytics services, described below. Neither of them runs unless you accept analytics cookies.
Client system data. When we deliver services, our Command Center reads information from the systems a client connects to it, so that we can present aggregate operational figures back to that client. What we can see is set by the client when they grant access, it is used to deliver the service they have asked for, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
Analytics and third parties on our website
These do not run until you allow them. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, the analytics scripts below are held back and never load, so they set no cookies and receive nothing about your visit. If you decline, they stay blocked. Only the strictly necessary cookies above are set before you choose.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-W2N66K9XDL), provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use our website. It sets cookies and collects your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view. Google processes this information on our behalf and may transfer it to the United States. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Ahrefs Web Analytics. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure site traffic. It processes your IP address to derive approximate location and does not, per its provider, set cookies or track individuals across sites.
Content delivery. Our website loads one animation library from unpkg.com. As a technical consequence of your browser requesting that file, your IP address is visible to that provider.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else processes information for us
We use a small number of service providers, each of which handles information only to provide their service to us:
- Servers.com / Virtuozzo, website and application hosting, Dallas, Texas
- MXroute, business email
- Backblaze B2, encrypted off-site backups
- Google LLC, website analytics
- Ahrefs, website analytics
- Twilio Inc., text message delivery, if you have opted in to receive texts from us
Our systems and our backups are located in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed there.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your information because you have asked us to respond to you, because we have a contract with you or are taking steps to enter one, because we have a legitimate interest in running our business, or because the law requires us to keep certain records.
For analytics cookies the basis is your consent, which is why nothing analytical runs until you give it. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it, using the controls in the next section.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, where a relationship follows, for the life of that relationship. We keep records of client engagements for as long as we are required to for tax, accounting and insurance purposes. Analytics information is kept according to the retention settings of the services described above. Backups are held on a rolling schedule and are overwritten in the ordinary course.
How we protect it
We encrypt traffic to our website, restrict administrative access, keep encrypted off-site backups, and monitor our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you and the relevant authorities about a breach affecting your information where we are required to.
Your cookie choices
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices here at any time, and the change takes effect immediately:
Blocking or deleting cookies through your browser settings also works, though the strictly necessary cookies above are needed for the site to function.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable form. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
